Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern your main contribution will be in Production and Quality Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards while also identifying opportunities to minimize waste and improve efficiency in manufacturing processes. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering or related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern your main contribution will be in Production and Quality Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards while also identifying opportunities to minimize waste and improve efficiency in manufacturing processes. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering or related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections on plastic pipes throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues in real-time, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Perform data analysis on quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize manufacturing processes.

  • Monitor scrap production and implement measures to minimize waste and improve efficiency.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.

  • Work cross-functionally with other departments such as production, sales, and warehouse and maintenance teams to achieve company objectives.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Prior experience or coursework in quality control or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
